Black Panther: 13 Biggest Unanswered Questions

1. Are The Jabari Really Vegetarians?

The Question: When Shuri, Nakia, Ramonda (Angela Bassett) and Everett Ross visit M'Baku (Winston Duke) for help, he threatens to feed Ross to his kids, before quipping - in one of the movie's best lines - "I'm just kidding, we are vegetarians." So, are the Jabari tribe, who wear animal fur no less, really veggies or not?

The Likely Answer: It's most probable that M'Baku was just trolling Ross here, because while they might not be cannibals - anymore, at least - the fact they wear animal fur and M'Baku mentions that T'Challa was rescued by a fisherman seems a pretty blatant admission that they eat fish and probably meat too.

Plus, given that the Jabari live in an unforgiving mountainous climate, they probably need to eat meat out of sheer necessity to get bulky and stay warm.
