Black Panther 2: Michael B Jordan WOULD Return As Killmonger

As long as it's possible, anyway...

After basically stealing the show as the best part of the first Black Panther movie, Erik Killmonger was actually given a fitting end that saw him stick to his beliefs rather than become a prisoner/servant of T'Challa. Sure, it robbed us of one of the best MCU villains to date, but it absolutely fit his arc and that made the film's conclusion all the more satisfying.

It doesn't mean fans wouldn't jump at the chance to see him back, though. And you can count Michael B Jordan among those fans, apparently.

The actor has spoken in an interview to MTV to reveal that he would absolutely be up for returning to the character if the opportunity arose. And given the fact that Steve Trevor is back for Wonder Woman 1984 despite being exploded to bit, it's not all that unlikely...

"I mean, I'm a fan, as you said, of Marvel, of comic books, everybody knows that. So I mean if there was ever an opportunity for me to come back and like join this universe and work with like Joe Russo, Kevin Feige, Victoria [Alonso], and everyone over there at Marvel, re-team with Ryan [Coogler] you know, of course I would."

It would be a logistically challenging task, but then Wakanda has a direct line to the spirit world thanks to the Heart Shaped Herb (and they have to bring that back in SOME way) so there could be a way back for his soul. And if Infinity War's sequel messes with the timeline anything could go that the writers want to do.

And it's not like there haven't been rumours about Jordan's return already (along with Donald Glover's exciting potential casting).
