Black Panther Movie: 5 Things You Need To Know

2. He'll Play A Part In Age Of Ultron

According to the announcement yesterday, Boseman will be making his first appearance as T'Challa not in the Black Panther film (set for release in 2017) but in the third Captain America movie, Civil War. Word on the grapevine is that his presence will be felt even earlier than that, even if the man himself doesn't make an appearance. Rumours has it that the Avengers sequel Age Of Ultron will involve the eponymous, villainous robot coating himself in vibranium, the strongest metal on Earth that isn't adamantium. It's a good shout, what with Fox owning the rights to everything involved with the X-Men. Using vibranium is a neat way of introducing Wakanda into the MCU, too, because that's the only place on the planet that metal can be found - something which gives T'Challa and his country considerable wealth and power in the comics - and so, presumably, it will be making some sort of cameo in the movie. Perhaps the Panther himself will pop up in the same post-credits sequence Captain Marvel is due to appear in?
