Black Panther Spoilers: 10 Major Plot Hints In The Trailer

If your pulse wasn't already racing at the prospect of seeing Chadwick Boseman's Black Panther in his own Wakanda-set movie - and directed by Ryan Coogler, no less - then there's a very good change that it's definitely palpitating after the first trailer landed.

Swaggering with huge confidence and some very real suggestions that Coogler is being given the room to make his own movie without studio meddling, the gorgeous-looking solo film looks like everything we've been promised. It's going to be politically fraught and spectacular, but with deeply personal stories that avoid the cartoonish escalation some other comic book movies are all too prone to.

Without spoiling too much, the trailer established an aesthetic, hinted at lots of action and offered a broad shape of what we can expect when the film lands in cinemas next year. But even without being as blatant as the Spider-Man: Homecoming trailers have been, there are lots of big hints in the excellent teaser that map out specific story points in and around Wakanda.
