This is the trailer's single clear glimpse of Man-Ape, the leader of a Wakandan tribe that rivals T'Challa's. With his accelerated speed and strength, he wishes to usurp T'Challa's throne, and though some view the villain as a goofy holdover from the 1960s, it's safe to say that Ryan Coogler has presumably found a way to adapt him for modern times.

It's clear that Man-Ape has taken the Dora Milaje and others hostage, and he may well be about to stage an execution in order to make a point. The scene may link on from possibly-Killmonger's men attacking the Dora Milaje earlier, which could hint at Killmonger working in league with Man-Ape. It's a lot of maybes, but also a lot to consider.
