3. Martin Freeman's Accent

He might not have appeared in Captain America: Civil War much, but even in those brief scenes, there was something a little iffy about British actor Martin Freeman's accent. The same sentiment is true of this first teaser, which starts with a tete-a-tete between Freeman's Everett Ross and the returning Ulysses Klaue (Andy Serkis).

His accent isn't entirely terrible, but it has that distracting manufactured quality to it - like Hugh Laurie's vocal performance in House - and the lack of authenticity perhaps has something to do with how recognisable Freeman is as a British pillar. Hopefully, more screen time doesn't make him more distracting.

Quite why Ross even needs to be American remains to be seen, but that's a conversation for somewhere else.
