Black Panther: Wakanda Forever: 23 WTF Moments

There's a majorly head-scratching scene near the end of the film that may or may not be intended as a bit of a joke, or a mere nod to audiences that the future of the Black Panther franchise may not strictly lie with Shuri.

M'Baku shows up at the Warrior Falls and announces that he wishes to challenge for the throne, though this is never followed up on again.

If it seems to be implying a future battle between M'Baku and Shuri, it perhaps seems more likely that M'Baku will simply become the King of Wakanda unchallenged while Shuri will serve as Black Panther.

We'll have to wait and see, but clearly this was left somewhat ambiguous on purpose, giving Coogler plenty of creative runway to change things up by the time Black Panther 3 is made.
