Black Panther: Wakanda Forever: 23 WTF Moments

A year later, the CIA collaborates with the Navy Seals to use a vibranium-detecting machine which leads them to a seemingly huge vibranium deposit underwater.

The search team, led by CIA scientist Dr. Graham (Lake Bell), is then attacked by Namor's (Tenoch Huerta Mejía) blue-skinned, water-faring people, the Talokanil, who naturally see the CIA presence as a threat to their underwater way of life.

But their assault is especially eerie given that the Talokanil deploy a unique sonic attack, humming a chant which hypnotises anybody who listens to it, in this case causing the Navy Seals to drop their weapons and jump from their ship, effectively drowning themselves.

Dr. Graham quickly puts some earplugs in and manages to fight her way to a chopper, but she's ultimately helpless to fend off Namor, who grabs the chopper and throws it into the ocean, killing her and everybody else onboard. What a terrifying introduction to Namor and his people.
