BLACK SWAN trailer is riveting and will leave you begging for more!
I'm way past tired as it's just hit 2am here in England but it's my duty to post this fabulous trailer for Black Swan - the Polanski-style psychological ballerina thriller from Darren Aronofsky that will play opening night at the Venice Film Festival, and is also an Official Selection entry at the Toronto Film Fest - both happening in September. I've got guys at both festivals - but I'm wondering if I made the right choice in not attending them myself. I was already anticipating this movie as a potential festival circuit gem but the intensity levels on show here that build to a breaking point, the claustrophobic way Aronosfsky has shot it (as we say, Polanski-esque) and the 'going all out' performance from Natalie Portman, an actress I've always had trouble to connect with - has exceeded even my highest of expectations. I feel like I see a lot in the trailer but I'm desperate for more... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ViWQUOGIaSU
