Black Widow: 21 WTF Moments

Fans speculated that the movie might finally reveal or even show the famed Budapest mission which Nat and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) have talked about repeatedly in the past.

While we sadly didn't get to see much of the mission itself, we do finally appear to learn what it involved.

The mission saw the two teaming up to take down Dreykov in Budapest, with Nat planting a bomb in his home which she believed killed Dreykov and, as an act of regrettable collateral damage, his young daughter Antonia. Ultimately, though, both Dreykov and Antonia survived the explosion.

Considering how eagerly fans have been waiting to get the dish on Budapest, it's a shame we didn't get to see a Hawkeye cameo or glean more context about the events leading up to and following the bombing.

Still, it's neat to finally know the basics of what went down.
