Black Widow - 5 People Who Could Be Taskmaster

There have been rumblings that Taskmaster may not be their own original character, at all. Instead, it has been postulated that Taskmaster may be a clone.

This is a very comic book-y explanation, but it wouldn't be TOO out-there, considering that this is an MCU film. While it's meant to be more grounded, the film still exists within the MCU, a world that features extraterrestrials, robots, and sorcerers. With that in mind, clones don't seem like such a stretch. But WHO is Taskmaster a clone of?

Perhaps he/she is a clone of one of Natasha's loved ones. If so, this clone could've been programmed to destroy her, and turned loose to wreak not just physical havoc, but emotional and psychological havoc, as well.

Taskmaster could also be a clone of Natasha. She has been cloned in the comics before, and it would explain why Taskmaster is able to mirror her movements with the utmost perfection.

That wouldn't explain why Taskmaster is shown mirroring the techniques of Spider-Man, Hawkeye, and Cap, but the possibility is there. It would also give the filmmakers a way to keep Johansson in the MCU.
