We've all been shuffling through the confirmed characters in the film -- or their possible clones -- because we assume that the character's identity has to be someone we know about. There's always the possibility that Marvel has secretly cast an actor we weren't aware of.

It's not a crazy supposition. Who expected Red Skull to pop back up in Infinity War?

Hell, who expected Thanos to turn around and grin at the camera at the end of The Avengers?

While he wasn't a named character, they managed to sneak Matt Damon into Thor: Ragnarok.

Most recently, the good folks at Marvel -- in conjunction with Sony -- dropped a bombshell on us when none other than J. Jonah Jameson, played by the incomparable J.K. Simmons, popped up on the screen at the end of Far From Home.

Might Taskmaster be someone we're not expecting, at all? Not a pre-existing character, not one of their clones, and not a known cast member? Maybe. Just maybe.
