Black Widow: Everything You Need To Know About Taskmaster

1. He's Vulnerable To Psychics, Robots, And... Crazy People

Black Widow Taskmaster
Marvel Comics

Although Taskmaster should never be underestimated, he has been defeated several times. In the Wolverine story, Bloodsport, Mister X defeated Taskmaster by reading his mind so he could predict all of his moves.

In his debut, he battered the Avengers without breaking a sweat. However, he was defeated by the an energy blast from the android, Jocasta. Since Jocasta is a robot, Taskmaster couldn't read her body-language nor could he replicate her energy-based powers.

Also, his photographic reflexes are ineffective against someone who relies on magic, technology, or certain superpowers. He can batter Tony Stark but he can't fly or shoot photon blasts like Iron Man.

But Taskmaster has another weakness. He can duplicate a person's fighting strategies simply by looking at them. However, this doesn't work on certain people like Deadpool because he is... super-mega crazy. If Deadpool doesn't have a clue what he's going to do in a fight, Taskmaster can't use it against him.

Also, Wolverine has said that if he is hit hard enough, he will unleash his berserker rage. When this happens, Taskmaster can't predict Wolverines' moves because he has no strategy since he fights like a feral animal. This goes to show that as deadly as Taskmaster is, he's not invincible.
