3. Hans Zimmer & Benjamin Wallfisch's Immense Score

There's been a lot of concern in recent weeks about the movie's score, considering how dearly fans hold Vangelis' original score to their hearts, and the departure of this film's original composer, Villeneuve's frequent collaborator Jóhann Jóhannsson, a few months ago.

Replacements Hans Zimmer and Benjamin Wallfisch do stellar work crafting a wonderful soundscape that hearkens back to Vangelis' original synthy, jazz-inspired score, while throwing plenty of Zimmer's own signature bombast into the mix.

Fans will inevitably be divided over whether or not Zimmer and Wallfisch have managed to match Vangelis' work, but either way, the pair have provided an exceptional accompaniment to the film's scintillating visuals.
