Bohemian Rhapsody Freddie

The film concludes with Queen's unforgettable Live Aid performance, and it's certainly a suitably bombastic emotional high on which to close things out.

Yes, it is ultimately in the service of downplaying Mercury's death and there are some aforementioned technical issues, but from moment to moment, it is an electrifying recreation of the famous gig.

This gives Malek by far his grandest stage to embody Mercury, which complete with an uncanny stage setup and even a cameo from a dead-on Bob Geldof lookalike (Dermot Murphy), ensures the sequence gives audiences one hell of a barnstorming finale.
