Bond 24: 10 Reasons We Can't Get Enough Of Daniel Craig

6. His Ability To Change Emotions Quickly

James Bond always needs to be prepared to act instantly and one of the traits of any actor playing 007 is the ability to transition the character's frame of mind to the situation Bond finds himself in. Bond usually finds himself dealing with simple dialogue leading to a physical encounter with another character; Craig executes the transition in Bond's behavior brilliantly. In Skyfall, while apprehended by Raoul Silva, played by Javier Bardem, Bond calmly responds to a question asked to him by Silva before killing all of Silva's henchmen within a few seconds. During the film's climax, Bond converses with both M, played by Judi Dench and Kincade, played by Albert Finney, before battling Silva and his henchmen on two occasions. The quick change in tone and emotion throughout a scene is not an easy trait for an actor to master but Craig nails the fluctuations that occur with his character in each of the three films.
