Despite some suspicions that David Bowie had happily retired from the music industry, the iconic hit-maker managed to shock us all with the announcement of his upcoming new album, The Next Day. The lead single, Where Are We Now? had a heart-wrenching melancholic tone as it saw the singer reflect on his past. Bowie's haunting vocals and distinctive presence set against orchestral backing could be the making of a truly unforgettable Bond track. It would even be a joy to hear him tackle a more lively number similar to Duran Duran's A View To a Kill.
