Bond director is Unstoppable

bond8.jpgMartin Campbell, the director of two Bond movies (Goldeneye & Casino Royale) has been hired to direct a "runaway train movie" titled Unstoppable for 20th Century Fox.
Scripted by "Live Free or Die Hard" scribe Mark Bomback, the drama pits an engineer and his conductor in a race against time. They're chasing the runaway train in a separate locomotive and need to bring it under control before it derails on a curve and causes a toxic spill that will decimate a town.
A good old fashioned runaway train movie! The undoubted king of the vehicle chase movie has got to be Speed from the mid 90's but the thought of an unstoppable train carrying deadly toxins could make for some great imagery and some exciting stuff. Campbell is a competent director too, if a little by the book at times. source - variety
