Brad Dourif joins Halloween! & more casting news

dourif02.jpgRob Zombie has done it again. Yet another impressive actor has joined the cast of his Halloween remake, in the form of Brad Dourif. He will be playing the role of Sheriff Brackett. Yes that's the guy who was the awesome GrĂma Wormtongue in The Lord of the Rings and did the voice for the Chucky doll in the Child's Play series. An incredible actor. The casting doesn't stop there... Adrienne Barbeau will have a role in the remake. She was once even MARRIED to John Carpenter and was frequently cast by him in his films such as The Fog, Espace from New York and The Thing. Talk about insider knowledge! Clint Howard (click here, you will know him when you see his face), Courtney Gains and Daryl Sabara have also signed on for the movie. Wow, and we still haven't found our leading lady yet. I can't help but be impressed with this cast for Halloween. Who would have thought just a couple of months ago that Malcolm McDowell, Danny Trejo and Brad Dourif who be involved. Come on Rob, prove all of us doubters wrong. Surely there is no better incentive for you to make a kick-ass movie than this? source - bloody disgusting, filmstalker, rob zombie's myspace
