Let's begin by introducing some statistics about what is easily the worst film that Cooper has ever starred in. All About Steve ranks 96th in Rotten Tomatoes Worst 100 of the 2000s, receiving an overall critics score of 7%. SEVEN percent. As some indication of how bad that is The Room (fabled as one of the worst films ever) has 20%. What's worse for Cooper is that he plays Steve who, apparently, the film is all about. Except that it isn't. It's about Sandra Bullock making a damn fool of herself. It's hard to believe that she won an Oscar in the same year as this tragedy was unleashed upon an unsuspecting public. But that's neither here nor there because the real shame here is that Cooper went anywhere near this abomination. Yeah maybe it was from before his big break, but had this come out as intended before The Hangover, it might have killed his career before it even had a chance to take off.
