Jim Broadbent has confirmed that he will indeed make an appearance in the currently filming
Indiana Jones and the City of Gods, and as expected he is going to be the Marcus Brody type character.
BritFilms have the following quotes from the actor...
"Im doing a good cameo in the next Indiana Jones, so working with Mr.Spielberg should be an experience. Im going to Yale Im a professor. Jokingly it was suggested that he could be the new Marcus Brody character. That would do for me (laughs)
Great news then, Broadbent is as good a choice as any for this role. He becomes the third British actor to be cast in Indy's latest adventure after
