Brooklyn Nine-Nine Or Die Hard: Who Said It - Jake Peralta Or John McClane?

If there's one thing you should know about Brooklyn Nine-Nine's Jake Peralta is that he is the biggest Die Hard fan in the world.

He knows everything there is to know about the film. When the team from precinct end up Los Angeles he can't help but drag them all to "Nakatomi Plaza" on the way to the airport... ultimately causing them to miss their flight. Jake can't help but quote the film and gets way too excited when he finds himself locked caught up in a robbery on Christmas Eve, Die Hard style.

Jake's hero is no-nonsense NYPD cop John McClane. Just like McClane, Peralta has a habit of breaking the rules and annoying his senior officers. McClane is the fly in the ointment who inadvertently becomes an action hero thanks to being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
