BURKE & HARE trailer

Ealing Studios have left it late to promote 'Burke & Hare', their Hammer Horror style black comedy that centers on a pair of Irish immigrants who took to murdering their tenants 'Sweeney Todd' style, when they were low on cash. The pair would sell off the bodies of their 17 victims to the Edinburgh Medical College whose ambitious Dr. Robert Knox would pay handsomely to use them for medical dissections, and by all intents encouraged the killings. I've just been sent the trailer for the film due out in just over three weeks time (Oct 29th). Simon Pegg and Andy Serkis star as the devilish duo that marks John Landis' (American Werewolf in London, Blues Brothers) first live action film in over a decade. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r8SOMa09X4w In great Hammer Horror tradition; there's an huge cast of British faces including Tom Wilkinson (as Knox), Sir. Christopher Lee, Tim Curry, Jessica Hynes, Bill Bailey, Stephen Merchant and even Ronnie Corbett! Tons of laughs to be had (Pegg's line, "I had confidence in a fart once and I shat all over myself" won me over), and well, they don't make these kind of pictures anymore. We should embrace it.
