AICN report that
Sigourney Weaver was on the French T.V. show
Le Grand Journal where she alluded to the fact that she will be re-teaming with
Aliens director
James Cameron in the future. This is what the guy reported..
"she was asked if she would do another "alien"...She said no, she said that everything has been said about this creature and for her, it's over... BUT she said that she will be making a big sci-fi movie with james cameron... But she didn't want to talk too much about it"... James Cameron has two big sci-fi movies on the horizon,
Avatar in 2009 and the futuristic female cyborg movie
Battle Angel soon after. If she is telling the truth, then I think it's great news. Weaver is only ever interesting in science fiction movies of this type and to see her re-team with Cameron sure would be fun to see. So take all of this with a grain of salt, but if Weaver was to be cast in Avatar it would really add a bit of weight to a movie that is going to be primarily lesser known actors. source -
