Candyman Trailer Breakdown: 5 Ups & 3 Downs
Does Jordan Peele's version hook, or is it a hatchet job?
Say his name in the mirror five times, and he will appear behind you to gut you like a pig. Look for enough classic titles to bring back, and you will come across Candyman.

With Get Out, and Us, Jordan Peele has made two of the best horror movies in recent history. Peele's movies focused on themes such as identity, and it is very interesting to see him bringing back a franchise which is based around the mystical titular character.
Many recent films which have been brought back, are usually met with sighs of desperate curiosity. However, in the film's landscape, which seems to be in the grips of gentrification, this one seems to be a better fit for 2020 than most.
