2. Which Other Heroes Will Appear?

If two Avengers are going to be locking horns, you would certainly think that at least a couple of the others might be making an appearance - if only to get in between them and attempt to bring about some peace. The question has been asked in previous solo movies regarding where other Avengers were when their team-mates needed them (e.g. why didn't Bruce Banner help Tony Stark when Aldrich Killian was causing havoc?), but it can be waved away for plot reasons. However, an absence of other Avengers when two of them are threatening to wage war on each other would be harder to explain. So, could Bruce Banner show up? Might Thor act as the mediator (which would be ironic, given that Captain America had previously played mediator between Thor and Iron Man)? Could Black Widow show up and try to calm things down? We shall see!
