9. Giant-Man Tramples The MCU
The MCU-changing outcomes of Civil War arent all about character deaths, either. For instance, one of the big rumours is that Paul Rudds Scott Lang could add a significant new ability to his superpower skillset transitioning from Ant-Man to the ginormous Giant-Man during the film. Giant-Man, as you can probably guess if you dont know already, is what you get when the miniaturisation technology that powers the Ant-Man suit is reversed. In the comics, Hank Pym was the original Giant-Man, but theres no reason that the MCU would need to copy that. After all, itd probably be a bit more exciting if the filmic Scott discovered a new power that Hank hadnt. The consequences of this for Scott would be significant. As Ant-Man, he can break into places and steal stuff, but as Giant-Man hed have Hulk-esque levels of size and strength. If he cant control these capabilities at first, there could be lots of damage caused. And once he truly masters them (maybe in Ant-Man And The Wasp), hell move a fair few places up the Strongest Characters In The MCU list. Not bad for a thief who couldn't hold a job in Baskin-Robbins.
