As much as Civil War gets right, it doesn't quite nail everything apparently. Unsurprisingly, as was a problem in Age of Ultron, some of the supporting players struggle to have much of a presence.

The Hollywood Reporter singled out War Machine and Black Widow as being particulaly underserved, while Forbes amusingly said of Agent 13, "the only loser in the bunch is poor Emily VanCamp, who is arguably there to briefly make out with Steve Rogers".

And then we come to Vision: "It is frustrating, though, that Vision is often relegated to housesitting duties, especially when he'd come in pretty handy at certain points out in the field. He's often treated like a guard dog with an Infinity Stone (IGN).

IGN also said of Martin Freeman's Everett Ross, "if you're stoked to see Martin Freeman in the MCU, you'd best dial down your expectations as he's not given much of anything to do here."
