Captain America Civil War: 12 Big Questions From Everything We Know So Far

2. What Does It Mean For Infinity War?

Captain America: Civil War is the first film of Marvel's Phase 3, their biggest and most ambitious Phase yet. It's all building to one thing, something the MCU has been heading towards since Phase 1 in fact, a showdown with Thanos, who'll be in possession of the Infinity Gauntlet. They've been setting that up for sometime now, from Thanos' appearance post-credits in The Avengers, to the Infinity Stones being introduced, the Mad Titan being in Guardians Of The Galaxy, and then the Age Of Ultron credits scene. It's the looming spectre over everything in the MCU, and given it's so connected, it'd be strange if Civil War had nothing to tie into it. What implications will the movie have for Infinity War? Will it push certain relationships, and the Avengers as a whole, beyond repair? Will there be any more setting up of the Stones or Thanos? You could also go further, and wonder just how the Sokovia Accords will impact on the entirety of the MCU, including the TV heroes?
