Though he wasn't glimpsed in the trailer, Vision will have an important part to play in Civil War, as his moral education runs in parallel to the broad questions about responsibility and behaviour that are explored in the main clash. That much is being drawn from Paul Bettany's comments about what we can expect from his character:

The themes of personal growth and learning consequences and morality have been a big thread so far, and he represents an opportunity to explore it a little less obtusely. Plus it follows the Frankenstein story that was so heavily leaned on for his origin in Age Of Ultron.
