Captain America Civil War - 12 Things Fans Will Just Have To Accept

8. There Probably Won't Be A Decisive Winner

The Civil War comic ends with a fairly decisive victory for Tony Stark's side amid tragic circumstances, but it seems extremely likely that the movie version, for fear of turning off casual audiences, will almost certainly take a far more pragmatic approach, settling for the lame "nobody loses" result that so many "vs" movies opt for, be it Freddy vs. Jason or the inevitable conclusion of the upcoming Batman v Superman. Each side will get a chance to show their stuff, and the movie will obviously be sold on the thrill of getting to see various superhero combinations beating the snot out of each other, but ultimately it's probably going to be for naught, as no side will get a definitive win, because that just doesn't make good merchandising sense. Sure, Marvel could show some balls and go all out, but it'll likely be a compromise all the way.
