13. The (Other) Community Reference

Bucky's trigger words have obviously been a point of contention since they were first uttered: "Homecoming" may or may not reference the forthcoming Spider-Man movie title, "nine" could reference the heads of HYDRA, "freight car" could refer to his death and "seventeen" may refer to the year Buck was born.

The most unlikely reference in those words is "daybreak", which some have suggested is another Russo-centric Easter Egg that refers back to their work on Community.

The word obviously refers to the title of the song Abed hums in "Horror Fiction In Seven Spooky Steps" during his spooky story. Obscure? Yes. Intentional? Probably.
