8. GIANT FREAKING MAN

It's rather a shame that LEGO managed to spoil Giant Man's inclusion in Civil War before release, but it actually didn't take anything away from Paul Rudd's big moment.

Done with perfectly pitched humour, Giant Man's scene-stealing cameo in the airport fight couldn't have been better: they make him sluggish, unsure of himself thanks to a lack of experience and hilarious (particularly when Vision phases through him), and the sequence is as brilliant as it is odd.

Who would have thought that this could ever work in a comic book film after Christopher Nolan's Batman films?!
