Captain America: Civil War - 26 WTF Moments
20. De-Aged Tony Stark!
After the slightly iffy effects that went into de-aging Michael Douglas for Ant-Man, you might have been forgiven for thinking that Marvel would avoid repeating the trick at all costs. But no, they've clearly worked out the kinks in the process and introduced a snarky fresh-faced Tony Stark on the cusp of manhood (who for some reason is wearing a Mister Whippee T-shirt at the age of 21).
It's a stunningly effective sequence, even if the way it's framed - as some sort of Google Glass/Holodeck projection - is a bit silly.
There is literally now no reason Marvel can't just continue making Iron Man films long after Downey Jr swaggers disgracefully into retirement and starts jumping Christmas trees in the old folks' home.
So maybe we will get to see him fight Fin Fang Foom some time after all...
