13. Was That An Agent Carter Reference?

When Bucky and Cap share a moment right at the start of their climactic assault on the hidden Winter Soldier bunker, they share a story about missing a train because Steve had spent their fare on hotdogs. It's a terribly twee moment, but it's nice to be reminded that the pair are still men lost in time.

And more importantly, Cap mentions that Bucky had a relationship with a girl called Dot (they say she was called Dolores, but neither seems entirely convinced). Could this Dot actually be a reference to secret Soviet assassin Dottie Underwood who appears in Agent Carter? It would certainly fit - particularly as her past mirrors Bucky's so closely.

Plus there's no other discernible reference to a Dot in Bucky's past, so it might well be a bit of conscious teasing by Marvel.
