5. The New Avengers Foreshadowing

The end of the movie at least partially hints at the state of the Avengers at the end of the Civil War comic arc. On the page, the Avengers split into two teams - the Mighty Avengers led by Tony Stark and including Ms Marvel, Black Widow, Sentry and Spider-Woman, and the New Avengers, led by Captain America initially and including Luke Cage, Wolverine, Spider-Man (eventually) and Thing at a later point.

With Tony Stark's government sanctioned heroes still presumably operating, he's got the Mighty title covered (even if his recruits are a little low), and can count on Spider-Man, Black Widow (maybe), Vision, Ms Marvel when she appears and Rhodey unless he retires. Who knows where Thor and Hulk would fit in.

The more interesting idea is that Cap is leading an underground version of the Avengers, who will come out of hiding if Stark puts a call out for their help, which is more like the Luke Cage led initiative that grew out of Civil War. If only they had their own movie before Infinity War.
