After Kimmel asked Anthony Mackie how real his giant metal wings were in Civil War (and the other Captain America films), the actor revealed that he has to wear smaller foundation wings - with about a three foot wing span - that are then digitally augmented in post production. So he looks more like a pigeon or a quail than a majestic bird of prey.

Sebastian Stan also revealed some details about the logistics of his own practical effects prosthetic. Rather than his metal Winter Soldier arm being digitally added, he has to use a lot of lube ("Well I gotta get in there") to get it on over his own arm. The glamour of film-making!

The actors also talked about how much more they tend to get recognised after working on projects like this - even when in disguise.
