7. Iron Man

Robert Downey, Jr.'s Iron Man AKA Tony Stark is the flagship character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe franchise. He is the big draw for MCU viewers and his insane salaries in each movie he's in (they're considerably larger than any other actor in the franchise) would suggest that Marvel Studios don't intend to let him go until he honours his contract. That contract runs until the Avengers: Infinity War movies, which Downey, Jr. will undoubtedly star in. Iron Man has a say in every major Avengers battle and you can expect him to be right in the thick of it when Thanos is defeated - he might even land the finishing blow on the Mad Titan. Regardless, Tony Stark is going to be around for a while yet - remember, he's also slated to appear in the standalone Spider-Man movie in 2017. Whether or not his pro-legislation team wins the Civil War is open to debate, but he will definitely survive it.
