Captain America: Civil War - 8 Characters It Will Change Your Opinion Of

1. Iron Man

Iron Man - or Tony Stark as the man beneath the armour is known - has always been something of a wildcard. That being said, he's never been an outright villain. Everything he has ever done wrong has been through naivety, rather than through malice (his arms-dealings, which he was unaware were helping terrorists and his creation of Ultron, which was intended for the good of humanity, for example), so his fellow MCU characters and audiences alike have forgiven him. This time, that might not be so easy, as the self-proclaimed genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist is going to be presented as the bad guy and he'll be going after the titular good guy - that's never good for a man's image. Having Stark co-operate with a government that will probably be conveyed as extremely corrupt could genuinely signal the end for the Iron Man we know and love - and, even when the Avengers reunite to face Thanos, we might still never look at him the same way again.
