11. It's "Affectionate And Respectful"

Inevitably, this is the point that will be most important for anyone who didn't like Batman v Superman because of Zack Snyder's apparent vendetta against Superman. For a lot of people, the disdain he showed to the character (and everything else attached to him - just ask poor Jimmy Olsen) was a step too far in his apparent agenda to stamp his auteur mark on the source material, no matter the cost to it.

Despite some missteps in adaptation (Ultron didn't win over many hardcore fans), Marvel's approach has been one of affection for fans, source and characters. Perhaps it's because Marvel themselves oversee production, but their movies don't just feel like adaptations - they feel like extensions of the source.

It's great to hear that that has continued with Civil War, even despite the suspicions that the film will still be far removed from Mark Millar's source comics.
