Samuel L. Jackson will of course appear in the film as a younger version of S.H.I.E.L.D. Director Nick Fury. Long before he met any superheroes or became Director, though, Fury is reportedly a "lowly S.H.I.E.L.D. desk jockey", and it's safe to say his encounter with Carol Danvers will likely shape his future.

The MCU's digital de-aging necromancy is once again at work here, making the 69-year-old acting legend look several decades younger, and at least in this still image, the results look utterly flawless.

Considering that Jackson is expected to have a significant role in the film, there's no room for the effects to look even remotely off, but this image instils plenty of hope.

Also, as was made obvious from set leaks, Fury hasn't yet sustained the traumatic injury which left him with sight in only one eye. It doesn't take a genius to speculate that he'll most likely lose an eye in the movie's climax, unless it's another classic act of Marvel misdirection.
