8. It's Unlike Any Other MCU Film

There's a reason we've all been led to believe that the future of the MCU is going to be completely different to the majority of the first three phases. Kevin Feige has consciously banged the drum of creative diversity and he and Bob Iger very conspicuously mentioned visiting new worlds and new time settings, while Feige has almost perpetually talked about the wealth of new characters he has at his disposal (and that's without mentioning the ones he's about to be given thanks to Disney's acquisition of certain rights from Fox).

It seems from the reactions to Captain Marvel that the agenda for difference is already here ahead of Endgame because the film is unlike anything Marvel Studios have made so far. Considering the mentions of a strong deminist message, cosmic vibes and 90s nostalgia, that definitely sounds likely, but it's just great to see that Marvel have pushed the envelope enough to not simply port what they've already done to a new time setting.

There's also mention of the film being a full-on cosmic Marvel movie, which is something else we've been promised for some time now and which comes with even more exciting possibilities for the future.
