9. The Alien Planets Hala & Torfa
The trailer also provides a brief glimpse of the Kree homeworld Hala. We can see the exterior of the planet as a spaceship travels to it, and then a quick flash of the sprawling cityscape - complete with flying cars! - as Carol stares out of a window.
Clearly a decent portion of the movie will take place on Hala, but you might've missed the presence of another alien planet in the trailer. At the 1:31 mark - just after Carol coldcocks an old lady - a huge explosion and laser fire is briefly visible in a distinctly otherworldly location (pictured below).
From what we learned in the EW feature, it sounds like this is most likely the planet Torfa, where Carol and other Starforce members travel in order to track down a missing spy.
In the comics, Torfa was deemed a poison planet due to the extensive Vibranium mining that took place there. Could we end up with a Black Panther-baiting Easter egg in this sequence? Fingers crossed.
