Carrie Fisher's 5 Best Scene-Stealing Moments

4. Fanboys

Fanboys provides Stars Wars and Carrie Fisher fans alike a most satisfying "argh it's her!" moment. The film is full of geekdom references and cameos, from Kevin Smith to Danny Trejo, but it's our Carrie that facilitates the turning point of the film. It follows four lifelong Star Wars fans who go on a road trip across America to storm George Lucas' house so that their dying friend can watch the new Star Wars film (Episode 1) before it is released. Carrie Fisher's appearance cements her as a true giver. Her contribution to the film is beautiful in itself as she represents the primary catalyst that motivates our heroes to get to the Skywalker Ranch. Fisher plays a doctor that gives the gang the bad news that they need to get Linus, who is suffering from terminal cancer, back home. She vocalises the chief obstacle to the adventure, so ignites the passion in Eric to call their crazy road trip "our Death Star" and give them the forward thrust they need. What's even more satisfying is the doctor's realisation that she can't stop the boys, and gives Linus a bottle of pills that will probably magically allow him to continue the journey. This is concluded by every Star Wars fan's dream: a full-on snog with Princess Leia herself.

Fan of Taylor Swift and the Dead Kennedys (a duet I can only dream of). I like dystopias, slasher films, and video games that make me feel things.
