Casting Robert Pattinson's Rogues Gallery In The Batman

Alongside The Penguin, The Batman has confirmed it will be starring Catwoman, and an unexpected yet great actress who could play her would be Jaimie Alexander. She would be one of many to jump ship from Marvel to DC after playing Lady Sif in Thor, but after proving herself as a competent lead in Blindspot, she has justifiably earned a shot at a top tier character like Catwoman.

While more established names like Emily Blunt and Eva Green are being deservedly thrown into the ring, Catwoman is a character who is worth taking a risk on just as much as Batman. Time and time again, both Marvel and DC have proven that unlikely castings make for fantastic performances such as Chris Pratt's Starlord and the most obvious one, Heath Ledger's iconic portrayal of The Joker.

Alexander has proven she has the acting ability and the action credentials to take on the role and could certainly repeat the success of those unlikely names cast before her. As for Batman's other significant female villain, there's one name that seems to fit perfectly.
