Child's Play: Ranking The Films From Worst To Best

The third film came out only a year after the second, but the clear lack of energy in its veins only led to disappointment that put the series on hold for the better part of the decade. 

As always, Dourif delivers Chucky's lines with glee and the puppetry work remains solid, but it's clearly straining against the limits of both its budget and the series' concept. Despite that, though, it still offers some cool moments that keep it from feeling thoroughly been there, done that, including Chucky's swapping of paintball rounds with live ammunition and the carnival finale.

In the end, Child's Play 3 is neither great nor truly terrible. Instead, it's a routine entry in the series that has enough cool moments in it to make it watchable but still not enough to really elevate it to the next level.
