Chris Nolan To Blow Your Mind With Tenet IMAX Prologue Before Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker

An early look at the upcoming action thriller is expected to screen next month.

We may not know all that much about the movie itself, but we now know that audiences will soon be getting a sneak peek at Christopher Nolan’s next picture, Tenet.

As has become habit for Nolan since doing so with The Dark Knight back in 2007, the filmmaker is giving audiences an IMAX extended prologue of his latest offering. As per the MPA, the “short subject” prologue piece has been rated PG-13 for violence and intense action.

It’s yet to be officially confirmed, but the general belief is that the Tenet prologue will be attached to Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker when that hits IMAX theatres on December 19th. That would certainly tie in with what Nolan has done previously when he tagged a shot film version of Dunkirk on to IMAX screenings of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

For those cinemas without IMAX capability, it’s expected that a new trailer for Tenet will accompany showings of The Rise of Skywalker.

While Tenet plot details are being kept hush-hush right now, the action-thriller will star John David Washington, Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debecki, Clemence Poesy, Kenneth Branagh, and Michael Caine, and is scheduled for a July 17th release.
