Christian Bale Offered $50 Million For Superman vs. Batman

batman supermanMany outlets are reporting that Warner Bros have approached Christian Bale with a whopping $50 million contract offer in the hopes of securing him for the Superman vs. Batman movie. Warner Bros and DC made fans all over the world happy with the Comic-Con announcement last month that Batman and Superman are finally getting their first live action crossover film in 2015. Man Of Steel director Zack Snyder and writer David Goyer along with their cast will return but the internet has been on fire with questions about the upcoming film. The main one involving The Dark Knight himself. Ever since the news broke just about every Hollywood leading man or up and comer in the right age bracket have been linked to the role, among those named are the likes of Josh Brolin and Ryan Gosling who who are reportedly being sought to star opposite Henry Cavill. I ask where is Karl Urban? However, fans of the Nolanverse are still crying out for Christian Bale, over and over again. Although, Bale himself has publicly ruled out returning as Bruce Wayne in any more movies, explaining in June "that three Dark Knight films were enough." He told EW:
"I have no information, no knowledge about anything. I€™ve literally not had a conversation with a living soul. I understand that they may be making a Justice League movie, that€™s it. It€™s a torch that should be handed from one actor to another. So I enjoy looking forward to what somebody else will come up with."
Warner Bros were always going to make a huge offer to the actor to return after the success of the Dark Knight trilogy and this will not be the first time they have thrown huge money at him to reprise his role. The question is how much money WB would be offering to make Bale and at one point he will accept. If that number exists. Batman Superman Batman vs Superman is scheduled for release in 2015, with a possible shoot to begin in early 2014.
