Cinemark pull PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 2 trailers for being "too scary for audiences"

According to Variety, Cinemark (a chain of cinemas) is pulling the teaser trailer for Paranormal Activity 2 (Oct, Paramount) from a number of theaters in Texas due to numerous complaints of it being "too scary for audiences". Which as we all know, is probably the best marketing fate that could ever befall a horror movie. The teaser trailer debuted before Summit Entertainment's Twilight Saga: Eclipse. Cinemark has also said that it will pull the teaser from more outlets if they receive more complaints. My only question is, "How hard are the folks at Paramount squealing in excitement right now at the thought that people are buying into their devious marketing scheme?" In (probable) related news, Paramount is also receiving complaints that the Paranormal Activity 2 trailer is totally un-scary, possibly because it was screened right before they popped Robert Pattinson's hair for a full feature, to a number of unsuspecting victims just minutes after. Click HERE to see that trailer again and please don't get too scared!
