Comic Con 2018: Every Major Announcement You Need To Know

1. Godzilla: King Of The Monsters Promises Epic Monster Mayhem

Though it doesn't hit cinemas for another 10 months, fans were nevertheless treated to the first trailer for Godzilla: King of the Monsters, and boy, it sure looks like an epic step up from Gareth Edwards' good-but-not-great 2014 predecessor.

The big sell here, of course, is that Godzilla will be facing off against Mothra, Rodan and, most importantly, the biggest bad there is, King Ghidorah.

Those pesky humans have to get in the way, naturally, but the trailer at least makes it clear the ensemble cast is an enviable roster of talented actors, led by Stranger Things' Millie Bobby Brown and the excellent Vera Farmiga.

There's clearly still work to be done on the effects and some of the dialogue is a little wonky, but where it matters most, King of the Monsters looks set to deliver. Hard.
